Story of a Short Root

There was once a distraught mother.
Who while eating her fried chicken,
Bit a bone and discovered she lost a tooth!

She went to the VA Dental Clinic
But the dentist had to discuss with his higher authority.
Unfortunately, no emergency treatment  could be provided
Because the period for the benefit of one full round treatment after coming back from an
OIF/OEF mission just lapsed.

Lucille, the veteran came back in August 2009 and the loss of number 9 tooth
happened on February 2010.
Lucille explained her absence for two months.
Veteran was referred to UCLA Dental in Santa Monica.
Resident students attended to the patient
$100 was the cost to make a temporary.
The treatment of implant would be about $5900.

As the temporary was falling off,
on about its third visit, the VA calls.
The full round treatment was to given.

Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Hicklin, Dr. Scott Dault, Dr. Roman, Dr. Pedram Soleimani and Dr. Safar.
